First post!

Hello readers! I am almost exactly 7 days away from leaving on my direct flight to Paris and I can hardly believe it! I have yet to do the actual packing, but other than that I'm set to go. For the first week, I'll be staying with my pen pal Claire and her family, who live in Draveil, a town outside of Paris. I still don't know who I will be staying with in my homestay for the semester, but I hope I find out soon! (And I hope it's close to downtown Paris.)
